I just posted a blog entry about the Parkview Avenue rightsizing project in Redding, California on the Shasta Living Streets website. Rightsizing is an increasing popular practice of reconfiguring streets with excess capacity to better serve their community. Some rightsized roadways have experienced a 29 percent reduction in all roadway crashes.
